Getting started

Finding things again

Quick search, Ask Evidence Bank, and how meaning-based search works.

There are two ways to find something, and they do different jobs.

  • Quick search, in the header or by pressing /, is for navigation: type a few words and jump to a record.
  • Ask Evidence Bank is for investigation: ask a question in plain language and get an answer drawn from your evidence, with links to every record it used.

Searching by meaning

Records are matched by meaning as well as by words, so searching “worried about money” finds evidence about affordability even when it does not use those words. Matches found that way are labelled Similar meaning.

The AI answer can misread evidence. Every claim links to the record it came from — check them before repeating an answer in a meeting.
