Evidence Bank works best if you start with real material rather than setting it up perfectly first. The fastest route is to put one thing in and follow it through.
Your first twenty minutes
- Capture three observations you already know — something a customer said, a pattern in the data, a request from the business. Use Capture evidence in the sidebar.
- Open Boards and group them by theme. Even three notes will show you whether the categories fit your product.
- Add your products in Admin, if the starter categories do not match what you build.
- Invite one colleague who hears things you do not — usually someone in Support or Sales.
What to leave until later
- Insights. Wait until you have several observations saying the same thing.
- Opportunities and bets. They matter when a real decision is coming up, not before.
- Tidying the categories. Rename them once the evidence shows you what they should be.
There is no wrong first record. An observation captured roughly is worth more than one never written down.
